This well-established and growing accounting practice based north of Adelaide is seeking an experienced Client Services Coordinator to become the central point of contact for the business. Supporting a team of accountants and advisers, you will play a critical role in keeping client administration, compliance processes and practice systems running efficiently.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior experience in a public practice accounting environment who enjoys variety, problem-solving and taking ownership of administrative processes.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of administration, client service, compliance and practice support activities, including:

Managing ATO lodgement workflows, reminders, and return archiving

Following up clients regarding outstanding signatures, payments, and compliance requirements

Liaising with the ATO regarding notices of assessment, client updates, registrations, and account issues

Managing and maintaining client records across Xero Practice Manager (XPM), SuiteFiles, BGL and other systems

Processing client payments, receipting, and debt collection reminders

Managing Xero subscriptions, invoicing, cancellations, and account maintenance

Maintaining data accuracy across multiple databases and platforms

Supporting Audit Shield administration, including client communications, reporting, and record maintenance

Producing compliance and practice management reports, including ATO non-lodgement reporting

Coordinating and distributing client newsletters through Mailchimp

Assisting with client onboarding and documentation through Onboarded

Developing, documenting, and improving internal procedures and administrative processes

Troubleshooting operational issues and acting as the first point of contact for internal administrative queries

Providing general office administration support and assisting with ad hoc projects as required

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within an accounting, tax, bookkeeping, or professional services firm

Strong understanding of accounting practice administration and compliance processes

Experience using Xero Practice Manager (XPM), Xero and SuiteFiles

Exposure to ATO Online Services, ATO Portal and RAM

Experience working with BGL and Mailchimp is highly regarded

Strong client service and stakeholder management skills

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills
